One of the advantages of this variant of the classic dish is that its lighting fast. For example, while baking it one can prepare a salad and serve it to the table. (In my case, this was a quick breakfast idea)
Ingredients:
(For two personal “pies” illustrated above)
75 gr. dry short pasta (do not cook it beforehand)
75 gr. / ml. milk
75 gr. low-fat sour cream*
75. grated cheddar**
Some salt, a pinch of nutmeg (or red/chilli pepper), pepper
Preparation:
- Pre-heat the oven to 190C
- Sprinkle the baking forms with some oil
- Mix all the ingredients in the baking forms and bake for 30 minutes until the upper crust becomes golden-brown. Chill slightly and serve.
* Sour cream could be replaced with curd
** For some extra twist you can use cheddar with herbs/spices (usually exists in numerous variations) or even a completely different strong-flavored cheese
